Practice Kusudama

I was searching for paper online this morning, looking for an antique style parchment with text printed over it for my Kusudama flowers and wasn’t having any luck. I’m not entirely sure what made me think of this idea, but somewhere along the line I thought of buying a cheap, old, book from the local book exchange and tearing out the pages to fold into the flowers. I wasn’t sure it would work or if I was going to be able to find a book that had the right colouring and text size, but I thought I’d give it a go anyway.

Full steam ahead!

The last stage in my visa process has finally been completed. I traveled to Sydney on Monday to stay with my cousin, so I could get to my interview the following day easily. I was so nervous, I had no idea what to expect. I was very glad I had made sure that I had everything I needed. Although it took nearly two hours to get to my actual interview stage, the interview itself wasn’t all that hard, or long. Good news!

I received some great news from B the other day. It seems as though the first half of my Visa has been processed and accepted. We thought it was going to take about 8 months as there were huge delays at the California office. An email came through two days ago saying our forms had been processed and instructions for the next stage would be mailed in the next few weeks.
